One way to recertify your NATE status is by taking at least 60 continuing education hours (CEH) before your certification lapses. In order to help you stay on top of your CEHs, we established the NATE-Recognized Provider Program, which recognizes training that aligns with the KATEs. Find a NATE-recognized provider near you.
When attending a CEH class from a NATE-Recognized Provider, make sure you:
- Check course alignment with your SPECIALTY before attending classes.
- Have your NATE ID number on hand to complete the NATE Recognized Provider Attendance Record — without this information NATE cannot help track your continuing education hours.
- Request a certificate of completion
You also may elect to attend non-NATE recognized courses to stay current with industry trends. If any of these courses apply to your SPECIALTY, you may submit these courses to NATE for consideration. NATE does not track these hours, so in order to have your hours approved, NATE requires you to provide a Certificate of Completion from the training providers when you submit your recertification application. Feel free to print a NATE Continuing Education Hours Form to submit to NATE with your recertification application if no standard Certificate of Attendance is provided.
